We accept international bank transfers and secure card payments for deposits and balances, depending on your itinerary. In some cases, balances can be paid in USD cash on arrival. Your consultant will share the options that apply to your booking.

International flights to and from Tanzania are usually not included. We arrange all internal flights, transfers, accommodations, park fees and activities as part of your package. If you need advice on international routes, we are happy to guide you.

Almost all of our trips are tailor-made. Our sample itineraries are inspiration – we happily adjust dates, budget, lodges and activities until they feel perfect for you.

Our itineraries normally include accommodation, daily game drives, park and conservation fees, private 4x4 vehicle, professional English-speaking driver/guide, most meals on safari and drinking water in the vehicle. Exclusions usually include international flights, some drinks, personal items and optional activities not mentioned in the program.

Yes. Please advise us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking. Most lodges and camps are experienced in catering for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other specific diets with prior notice.

Tanzania can be wonderful for families. Some lodges have minimum age limits, and certain activities (like walking safaris) have age restrictions. We will help design a family-friendly itinerary with suitable accommodations, activities and pacing.

Health recommendations depend on your home country, route and medical history. Always consult your doctor or a travel clinic before travelling. Many travellers are advised about routine vaccines and malaria prevention when visiting certain areas of Tanzania.

Tipping is customary but always at your discretion. As a guideline, many guests give a daily tip to their driver/guide and contribute to a shared staff tip box at lodges. Your pre-departure information will include suggested amounts in USD or local currency.

In cities and on the coast, Wi-Fi and mobile coverage are generally good. In national parks and remote areas, connection can be slower or limited – part of the magic of disconnecting in the wild. Many lodges offer designated Wi-Fi areas.
